Greys

"Greys" are an Alien Type that can make up an Alien Unit. They are one of the five Alien Types included in the Core Box.

• Cost: 4
• Unit Size: 4 Greys.
• Health: 2
• Shields: 2
• Movement: 5
• Melee Combat: 1
• Shoot Combat: range 6, value 1; range 8, value 1.
• Behaviour: Take Cover.
• Ability: Grenade throw: if a Shoot Attack roll results in 4 HIT (including CRITICAL HIT), every Adjacent model and Hazard takes a single CRITICAL HIT.

Alien Type

There are various different types of Alien Units, with each type being described on an Alien Profile card (sometimes also called an Alien Unit card). The Alien Types available in the Chronicle X core box are:

• Greys. The basic grunts of the Alien Forces.
• Grey Dominators. Have powerful psychic attack abilities.
• Commanders. Leads a group of Greys, making them more powerful than they would be on their own.
• Devoli Ridgewalkers. Powerful solitary fighters.
• Overmind. The big boss.

The TWILIGHT AT AREA 51 Expansion adds another type:

• Grey Tall Men.

The ABYSS Expansion adds two more types:

• Ralavar Streamcaller.
• Ralavar Waterbound.

In addition to that, a number of additional types are added via separate add-ons that just add one or two more Alien Types.
