Grey Tall Men

Grey Tall Men is a type of Alien Unit which appears in the TWILIGHT AT AREA 51 Expansion. They have a similar design to the Greys in the core box, but are a bit more powerful.

Three Grey Tall Men were also included in the Stretch Goals Box from the Chronicle X Kickstarter.

• Unit Size: 1 Grey Tall Men, 2 Greys.
• Health: 2
• Shields: 3
• Movement: 5
• Melee Combat dice: 2
• Shoot, short range 6, Combat Dice: 2
• Shoot, short range 8, Combat Dice: 2
• Behaviour: Take Cover, Quick Shot.
• Ability: Adapt to Surroundings: Grey Tall Men count Red Squares as Green Squares. Grey Tall Men are unaffected by the effects of the Twilight Tracker if used in the mission.

FAQ clarification from Archon: the ability only applies to Red Squares that the Grey Tall Men are standing on, so it effectively gives them better defence instead of worse defence on those Squares. It doesn't have any effect when Grey Tall Men attack.

TWILIGHT AT AREA 51

TWILIGHT AT AREA 51 is one of the two major gameplay Expansions for Chronicle X. It adds three new miniatures (Grey Tall Men), and various cards, tokens, Map Tiles and a "Twilight Tracker" which is an extended game mechanic only present in this particular Expansion.

ERRATA FROM ARCHON FOR TWILIGHT AT AREA 51: Twilight Tracker, page 6: Change the first sentence to read: "At the beginning of the second round, set the Twilight Tracker to 1. At the beginning of each subsequent round, move the Tracker up 1 Space. After the Tracker reaches 6, you no longer move the Tracker and all of its effects apply for the rest of the game."
