Expansion

There are a number of Expansions for Chronicle X. There are two major gameplay expansions:

• TWILIGHT AT AREA 51, adding three Alien Models of a new Alien Type Grey Tall Men, various cards and tokens, and 28 new Map Tiles.
• ABYSS, adding three Alien Models of two different types: one Ralavar Streamcaller and two Ralavar Waterbounds, various cards and tokens, 16 Underwater Map Tiles, and added rules for Underwater play.

Both of those Expansions also comes with an extended rulebook with some extra rules for features introduced in the campaign, plus a tiny Mission Book for Narrative Mode, useful as an introduction to the new game rules.

There was also a rather large Stretch Goals Box which provided a large number of additional Hero Models, many more Alien Models, and various other stuff.

Additionally, there is a [Solo/Co-Operative mode|Co-Operative Mode] Expansion, and a number of packs with additional Alien Types providing a wider range of choices for how to build the Alien Forces.

Separate small expansions

These expansions only contain miniatures plus their related Alien Type card(s) and Blip Tokens; there is no new gameplay content other than proving a bit more variation for the Overmind Player when choosing Alien Forces.

• Grey Infantry. 10 more of the Greys.
• Felsprinters. 8 of a new alien type.
• Backfire Demons. 10 of a new alien type.
• Devoli Sandcreepers. 3 of a new alien type.
• Na'Vo Warriors. Two new alien types; 2 models of a Close Combat type and 1 model of a Ranged Combat type.
