Core Box

The Chronicle X core box contains:

• six Core Box Heroes, each with one miniature, one Hero Profile board/card, and one Hero Dials board,
• five types of Alien Units,
• twenty doubled sided Map Tiles,
• one "World Map" for use in the Conquest Mode,
• one Alien Upgrade Sheet,
• five Combat Dice (red or blue),

and a large number of cards and tokens.

Core Box Heroes

The Chronicle X Core Box contained six Hero Models with their related Hero Profile Boards and Hero Dials Board:

• Captain Jordan 'Intersect' Bryce. Geared towards Melee attacks. Design probably inspired by actor Jean Claude van Damme.
• Chief Petty Office Jack Clemson. Geared towards Shoot attacks. Design probably inspired by actor Chuck Norris.
• Macon 'Mudslide' Grizzler. A tank-type character in a big armour. Design probably inspired by wrestler Terry "Hulk" Hogan.
• Minerva Watts. Special abilities relating to interaction, movement and evasion. Design probably inspired by Cleopatra Jones and other blaxploitation heroine characters.
• Colonel Atticus Blackwood. Special abilities relating to gaining tactical advantages. Design probably inspired by actor Clint Eastwood.
• Dr Yukari Fujikawa. Special abilities relating to healing and recovery. Design probably inspired by various doctor-type characters in science fiction movies.
