The Slipsteel Sentry is a automatic mech that the Hero Players can use as an allied unit. It is included among the Stretch Goals from the Kickstarter campaign. It has a stat card similar to the Alien Types, but it's not an alien unit.
Since it isn't an alien unit, it doesn't have any Unit Point cost and no Alien Behaviour. In addition to having an Alien Type card, the Slipsteel Sentry also has a Hero board and Hero dials so it can be played as a Hero by placing another Hero in the Slipsteel Control Room Space Station room. It is the only XXL model that can be played as a Hero.

Level 0 ability: Expert Pilot: this model's ability level matches that of the Hero placed in the Slipsteel Control Room.
Level 1 ability: Heavy Treads: when this model ends its turn adjacent to any enemy model, that model takes 1 Damage.
Level 2 ability: You have 20 seconds to comply: this model gains 2 Combat Dice to its long and short Ranged Combat Attack Value when performing an Overwatch action.
