INFO donations DESCRIPTION NannyMUD is constantly in need of donations. They will be used to improve the machine the game is run on, thus making the game faster and available for more players. Donating will not give you any personal favours in the game apart from being mentioned in the crypts below the church. :) Currently, donations can be of two types: money and memory. Memory is rather easy, just pack a (or many) 16MB simm, 72 pin, 70 ns or better, into a padded envelope and ask an admin for a current address. The memory used is the same as in ordinary PC's. Put 'gift' on the item label, or it will risk being caught in customs. Donating money is easy within the nordic countries, and more troublesome from outside them. In the Nordic countries, just send the money to the Swedish 'Postgirokonto 42 92 00 - 9', which is held by a society named 'Harrys V{nner' (which means Friends of Harry) (Put 'Harrys V{nner' as 'Betalningsmottagare'). They are kind enough to let us use this account. From outside the Nordic countries, there are several ways of transferring money. Talk to your bank. What you want is a "normal swift bank transfer" from your account to the account of Friends of Harry. You need the swift-code for this: PGSISESS, and the account number mentioned above. The bank will charge you some; in Sweden it's about 15 USD (July 1996). Other information they will likely want to know: + The swedish bank is named 'Postgirot Bank Sweden'. + The bank has the address: S-108506 Stockholm SWEDEN + The account holder (1996, and check this!) and his address is: Joakim Bj"orklund Bj"ornk"arrsgatan 11A:47 S-58436 Link"oping SWEDEN Here, "o is an o with an " above it and "a is an a with " above. Another way to send the money would be to send it to someone who is going to Sweden and can bring it with him/her. SEE ALSO pentium
