Tisaren

In the middle of this map is lake Tisaren. To its north is the municipality Hallsberg, where many railroads meet. North of Hallsberg is the flat farmland of Närke, but Tisaren is in the high area of forest Tylöskog.

Tisaren, just like neighboring lake Sottern (to the east), has a very straight and steep southern shore. There are many smaller lakes in the area.

Where route 50 and the railroad towards Motala touches the western edge of lake Tisaren, is Åsbro.

Along the northern edge of the map, the railroad passes through Hallsberg from Stockholm (to the east) to Göteborg and Oslo (to the west).

Pålsboda is at the northwest corner of this map.
