Vanguards of War is a boardgame by Archon Studio. Two of the alien types available in Expansions for Chronicle X are crossovers from the Vanguards of War universe:
Both of those Expansions were available as add-ons during the original Chronicle X Kickstarter.
Additionally, the Wilt Hero is also a crossover from Vanguards of War.
Crossovers
The Chronicle X Kickstarter provided a number of Stretch Goals and Expansion add-ons. Most of those were original designs for Chronicle X, but a few were crossovers from other games Archon Studio had been involved with. There were three groups of crossovers:
- Those from Vanguards of War, an earlier Archon Studio game.
- Those from LOAD The Boardgame, another earlier Archon Studio game.
- Those from Wild Assent, a game from Lazy Squire Games but with miniatures produced by Archon Studio.
