DESCRIPTION
	You go linkdead (LD) when your internet link to NannyMUD dies. This can
	happen for several reasons, the most common being that either your
	server or Lysator has problems. Some people also severe the connection
	on purpose.

	When you go LD, your character is turned into a statue, which cannot
	interact with the game. If you have been LD for long enough, the statue
	is removed. This currently (960708) happens after about 40 minutes.

	Before this, at fixed time intervalls, your inventory is examined, and
	common items (not auto-loading things) have a chance of disappearing.
	This has a two-fold purpose: unique items will re-appear in the game
	rather than being stored on a LD player, and there is now a risk to
	making LD a playing style.
