Denizen

Denizen Cards are drawn each time players Visit a Port, and represent various things that can happen. Some Denizen cards are single-shot effects that can be triggered at the Port, and are lost if not triggered. Other Denizen cards may trigger a Story. Some Denizen cards are Passengers, which represent mini-quests where a player can take the Passenger onboard and gain some reward for taking the Passenger to their desired destination.

Passenger

Passengers represent mini-quests that can appear randomly when players Visit a Port on some Denizen cards. The player can spend one Crew member's Port action on taking the Passenger onboard, and can then gain a reward for taking the Passenger to its desired destination, which is written on the Passenger card. The Passenger card also lists the reward for delivering the Passenger to its destination.

When a player takes a Passenger on board, a Passenger token must be placed on an available Cabins Crew effect space. The marked Crew effect space can't be used by Crew members as long as the Passenger remains on board.
