Reinforcement

"Reinforcement" refers to the Overmind Player's ability to bring in new Alien Units or restore health to existing Alien Units during an ongoing Mission. In order to make Reinforcements, the Overmind Player must have Build Points left that weren't used to buy Alien Units in the setup before the Mission.

The answer to the question "Why didn't they just buy the Alien Units from the start?" is that there may be at least two reasons for that:

• They can postpone the decision about exactly what type of Alien Units to get.
• They can potentially buy anther one of a Alien Type that there weren't enough miniatures or Blip Tokens of to buy as many as they wanted during the setup.
