The composer of these two suites are unknown, but it was probably written sometime between 1680 and 1699. The manuscript has survived in the Düben collection in the Uppsala University Library, who gratiously provided the copy I have used for this edition. The manuscript number is IMHS 64:13.
I have always tried to be as close to the original as possible. Editorial changes have been put above the staffs, or within parenthesis. Slashed figures in the continuo have been replaced with their flat/natural or sharp equivalents. All accidentals have been converted to modern standard.
