Languages

Aside from my native language Swedish, I'm fairly fluent in English. I am also reasonably able to read and understand documentation in French and German, although I'm not fluent in those languages.

Computer-related Qualifications

I have used a variety of programming languages; mainly C, Pike, Python, Lua and Erlang, but also C++, Perl, JavaScript, Java, and to a lesser degree also C#, Pascal, Forth, Fortran and Scheme. I'm also familiar with web technologies such as REST APIs, CSS and XSLT.

I've done some machine code/assembly language programming on x86, 6502, Z80, 68000, MIPS, ARM and AVR. I'm also passingly acquainted with 6800, 8051, Sparc, PowerPC, Hitatchi SH4 and HP-PA machine code.

Other technologies I have worked with include: Linux, Yocto, Raspberry Pi, Arduino, SNMP, GNSS/GPS, DVB (digital television), 4G/5G (telecom).

I have experimented with AI technologies since 2024, especially with image generation and Stable Diffusion.

I've come into contact with several kinds of SQL databases, although I have mainly worked with MySQL (now MariaDB), Postgres and Oracle.

As for operating systems, I've mainly worked with Solaris, Linux and HP-UX, but also come in contact with several other Unix dialects, as well as various Windows versions.

Within the field of web technology, I have worked with development, deployment and maintenance of web content management systems and web and print publication systems, and well as to regular web server systems. I have also worked with mobile and responsive web design.

I'm used to working in small development teams, and often with agile methods like Scrum and Kanban.

Hobbies

In addition to my professional computer experiences, I also have a private hobby interest for computer architecture, compiler construction, and classic home computers such as the Commodore 64 and Amiga; and outside of the technology fields, I'm also interested in music, literature, philosophy, board games, and various other fields.
