Middle Earth

Author: Massimo Campostrini
Year: 1992
Version: 2.0 (1995)
Type: Module for multiplayer strategy game Xconq
Distribution: Freeware
Availability: Downloadable (see above)
Licensed: No

This module used to be shipped with Xconq. It can be played either as a pure strategy game with some of the different sides detailed in Tolkien's books, or as a quest to destroy or capture the One Ring.

Due to legal technicalities, Stanley Shebs has decided to no longer provide the module within the official distribution of Xconq.

It has had a few different titles during its development and has previously been listed as Tolkien's Middle Earth on these pages. Now, Middle Earth seems to be decided on.
