This MUSH was completely dedicated to Tolkien. When it closed, there were plans to start two new MUSHes based on it. One, with the same theme and same name but better coded, will almost certainly not be realized. The other, based on the fourth age (to be called The Lord of the Rings MUSH II) is still in the planning stages.

Personal evaluation: It seemed promising at first, but then many creators tired of it.
