Elendor is very large and covering most of what is described in The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit and more. Completely dedicated to Tolkien. This is probably the most popular of the Tolkien MUDs.

Personal evaluation: If role-playing and huge areas to explore are your cup of tea, then this MUSH is for you. However, it is sometimes a little careless in following Tolkien's original.
