You can link to individual machins in the Internet Pinball Database from your own web pages. For example, if you have a listing of the machines you own, you can link to the records for those machines in the IPD.
You can create simple links that just lead to a page containing
information about a machine, or more complex ones that cause a
link back to your page to be added.
The simplest way to link to a machine is to create a link using a URL of the following form:
http://www.lysator.liu.se/pinball/IPD/machine.cgi?ID
Replace ID with the ID number of the machine you want to link to. The ID number for each machine is listed after its name in all search results. Here are a few examples:
If you want the page containing information about a game to include a link back to your web site, you need to use a URL of the following form:
http://www.lysator.liu.se/pinball/IPD/machine.cgi?id=ID&t=TEXT&h=LINK
Replace ID with the game ID as before. Replace TEXT with how you want the link back to read and replace LINK with the full URL of the page you want the link to go to. Note that you need to encode TEXT and LINK properly. Among other things you must use plus signs instead of space characters.
