Repairs
1997: When I bought the car, the engine was making very bad noises.
It was nocking quite hard, ehe. After some examination the camshaft
was held responsible. So i went to Sundsvall to BILTEMA and bought a
new one, it wasn't very expensive. I changed it the same day and
never had a any engine trouble after that.
1998-2000: Routine maintenance. Nothing big, exept some painting after
the "incident" :-/
2001: Major things, I changed the engine and the gearbox. I didn't
have to really, but as I got both engine and gearbox for free I
thought: why not the heck and did the change. The old engine had a
bad habit to wear down sparkplugs every 5000 km or so also. And the
"new" engine had only 200 000 km under it's belt! Practically new :-)
And it sure runs like a charm now.
