Scripts
multi-flatten.scm
A script to create images with a common background and foreground from
a multi-layer image, basically creating new images by making invisble
layers visible and flattening the image (repeat for each invisible
layer).
The script could be used for creating chits (actually it is the first
attempt at something that just might become a chit tools collection)
for board games and the like. Another possible use would be to show
different layer effects on a common image or what the same layer
effect would do to different images.
You can use the names of the frames to indicate key frames that
trigger the process (using more than one invisible frame for each new
picture) and directly save the generated images in a directory of your
chosing.

Geocaching
A hybrid image with a geocaching theme.
Sunsets
I always liked sunsets on the sea so I tried out a few techniques,
nothing serious though:
- 256x256 My first try,
experimenting with layer effects, gradients, blurring and the air brush.
- 1600x1200 Fotoistic
rendering combining gradients to create the sunset and the ocean.
- 640x480 Only using the brush (cheating
with the "divide" option though)
- 640x480 Happily applying several
layers of semitransparent ink.
- 640x480 Ink outline filled using
the air brush.
- 800x600 I used the air brush and
lots of pastels, finishing off with some smearing. Got some water
colour feel I believe.
- 256x256 Silly felt pen painting.
- 800x600 Once more.
- 800x600 A little predictable maybe.
