Tuesday Excursion
Maj and Peadar took us to an archaeological digging in Achaidh Chéide,
Céide Fields. It was very interesting to hear more about the old
Ireland. The Céide Fields is a hillside bog that has grown on top
of a stone age settlement. The stone walls under the bog tells us how people
lived many thousands of years ago.
