Computer graphics is the art of making images on the computer
look as good as if they were made without a computer.
Computer graphics has always been one of the most fascinating things about
computers for me. The ability to make the impossible possible through
stretching the limits of a computer. There are many different aspects to
computer graphics, but the one that I find most interesting is the
three-dimensional one. The way to create and display objects and views
of an artificial environment. The more photo realistic it gets, the better.
The ultimate goal is to make an image so good that no one can tell it's
computer made.
To have a look at some of my work in the fields of computer graphics, just look around this site.
Here are two pictures made with my own raytracer.
Here are some pictures that are rendered using my Caustics Generator tool.
The images simulate the light pattern seen on the bottom of a pool on a sunny day, also called caustics.
Computer graphics can also be expressed in the form of computer games.
