Using an extensible plug-in architechure, PowerScan can scan StuffIt, Compact Pro and Font/DA suitcase files automatically. Filters can also be integrated into the application in a similar fashion. PowerScan takes advantage of Apple's Thread Manager (included) to run several tasks concurrently or in the background.
