Play it again, IBM
I no longer own nor use these beauties so any
updates of these pages is depending on you.
One boring thing about this nice monitor is that it rarely lends itself to
playing games, especially not in Windows. But some games can actually
work with the IBM.
Just make sure you have the graphicscard set up to work with regular
windows at the usual resolutions (800x600, 1024x768) first.
Why and why not
The games must use DirectX and allow you to change resolution to one that
you have verified works in Windows, usually 800x600 or
1024x768.
Works
- Worms pinball
- WinDoom
- WinQuake (Quake 1)
- Heroes of Might and Magic III
Worms pinball and WinDoom works fine at 800x600 but is too slow at 1024x768
with my old Millennium. Maybe because there are only 2MB on the card or the
card is simply too slow.
Should work
But I have not tried since either I do not have the game or have not found
out how to change resolution.
