So you chose too see this...

Now. It began in december 1994, thursday the 8 to be exact. It was a cold day, a cold day indeed...
Later that evening there was an event taking place at school, in the house of our student body, "Kårallen", it was the yearly Julkravall (in english X-mas riot) arranged by ELIN Players, but before that we had our own Julfest (in english X-mas party) with lots of swedish x-mas food, Christmas Ham, Janson's Temptation, boiled eggs and a lot more. Time passed with songs and funny performances, among others there was a sketch called "Ass-kungen" (in english King of Ass, sounds like the swedish name for Cinderella), which caused many laughs...
As the food and the performances began to decrease we took off on our bikes to "Kårallen", it was still cold outside, so in order to keep ourselves warm, we had to drink a last glas of fluid, which in my case was about half a litre of a mixture containig one half mulled wine and one half moonshine. As I then feared no weather, we began our journey.

Erika
As we were slowly but unsafely passing by FOA, the National Defence Research Establishment, a good friend of mine, Erika Johannesson, told me in a drunken slur that there were dinosaurs behind the building. I didn't believe her. But she was persistent. There were dinosaurs there! She said that there were at least one dinosaur. In a minute or two she wore me down, and I decided to follow her and take a look at them/it. There were no snow yet, but the ground had already frozen, and we took a short cut over a field very full of holes.

After not more than twenty meters, the front wheel of my bike turned 90 degrees and caught me with surprise. As the bike did a total un-ABS break I had no choice but to take a aerial trip over the handlebars. I got up very easy, but gave up the idea of seeing that or those dinosaurs.

The evening and night passed away quickly, and I had a great time. Lots of dancing, "ölhäfv" and discussions with my friends. The day after passed and I didn't notice anything out of the ordinary, except maybe for that huge cap of concrete I just couldn't get off my head...

The second day after the riot I'd lost the cap, but instead I had pains on the left side of my chest, it tended to increase as I tried to lean forward or bend my upper body. As I touched myself on the side, I felt, besides from pain, that it felt weired. I laid the other hand on the other side of the chest, and noticed there was a difference...

As I went to the hospital tha third day, an X-ray made it clear that I had a broken rib!

Now you might wonder where the point with the story is? Well, more than one and a half year later, on saturday 31 of august, at LiTH known as "The Black Saturday", we where walking around the school area, and before I knew it, we had come to the other side of FOA, and there it stood, the dinosaur!!! Touched by the very intence moment as I was, I still managed to ask a friend to take a picture as I tried to mount the jurassic beast. As I stood there on top of the reptile I felt deeply moved. It stood here without the knowledge of what it costed me. With the last of my strengths I managed to pose as you see me on the image below...

Ups!
