Isn't that by Simon Reynolds and Joy Press? There's also a bit about gender in: Rachel Felder. _Manic Pop Thrill_. Hopewell, NJ: Ecco Press, 1993 ----------------------------- Date: Wed, 3 Dec 1997 09:11:51 -0500 (EST) From: Claire De Leon! Subject: umm....help. Sorry for the crosspost, but looking for all the help I can get... Well, yesterday after being at work for about 20 minutes, I received a phone call from my roommates telling me our house had been broken into. In addition to about $550 in cash, a bicycle, and various other odds and ends being stolen, so were every one of my CDs from "F" through "R". I am a tad bit upset. If anyone feels the kind heart enough to throw any promos, extras, what have you, my way from this essential part of the alphabet, I would probably reward you in some great way. If you come across any cheapies in the bargain bins this shopping season, please let me know. Some of my most dearly missed include: All My Bloody Valentine CDs, including Ecstacy and Wine (can you feel the flood of tears yet?) All Lilys CDs (including the elusive Tonebender CDep) All FSA discs All Flowchart Discs All my stuff from Further, Fuxa, Half String, Henry's Dress, Hood, Lenola, Lorelei, Lush, Medicine, mogwai, Quickspace Supersport, Ride, and about 100 more..... Anyhow, if you can help out in ANY way....please let me know... Thanks.
