Hi all,
Just got an email with the depressing news that Cloudberry Jam are
splitting up -- Jennie going back to university, saying "Music started to
become a job where I couldn't feel that music was the main thing. It was
hasseling about everything surrounding it. I can't feel that glimpse of
honest joy right now when I go down to the studio and without that I can't
have any good music at all".
And I never got to see them... why didn't they come to the UK?

1. The DEPECHE MODE concert in Riga follows in 3rd september, but it's possible (apr. ~ 30%) - the another concert in 2th september (one day before) will be organized in Estonian town Tartu!!
2. Tonight - in the Latvians major folk celebrations Midsummer Marathon Day (Janji) - the great "rave" party follows in the Baltic seaside near the small village Vecakji. There participate DJ Westbam and Marusha from western Europe.
3. The great SCORPIONS concert in Mezhaparks concert place will be in 27th june.
4. In the same day - 27th june - great Italy's romantic singer Toto Cutugno makes concert in seaside town near Riga - in Jurmala.
5. But the DJ Bobo well known Western Europe's popmusician make a concerts there in Latvia in 7 th august. News follows.

1. The great festival awaited in 31th july and 1st august in small
town Koknese. There will performance all greatest Latvians pop bands.
Including PRATA VETRA, BET BET, JAUNS MENESS, +10 others.
2. In the 20-23 may next year - a great music forum-festival follows
there in Riga. "Forte Riga" will be a small "Latvians MIDEM" there.
In the organization participates Ministry of Culture. News follows.
3. The new album "To The Kuru Island" last week presents well
known band LADEZERS. Was organized small bands concerts.
4. New album in the early autumn follows from the well know guitar
rock act GELOUSY. A long awaited album...
5. The "techno death" act NEGLECETED FIELDS 2 weeks later makes
concert performances in the eastern neighbourcountry Belarussia.
And the next album NF will record in the Sweden - late september.

Hi,
I'm going to London, England this friday (26th of June) and I'm planning to
purchase a whole bunch of records there, but since this is my first time in
London I don't know of *any* good record-stores over there. Well, I found
the London-record-shop-guide on the Twee-net homepage
(http://www.twee.net/misc/londonshops.html) but if anyone know of any shop
that is not mentioned in the guide - please e-mail me!
If anyone know about any cool concerts, events or anything else that I just
*have to see* - I would greatly appreciate if you would like to tell me
about it!

1.There in Latvia in 10 and 11 july follows great festival full of
neighbours country Russia's musicians. Festival call "Moscow-
Jurmala" and these one will be organized in small town Jurmala
("Seaside") near the capital city Riga.
2. In the same time and the same city Jurmala - but in the other
side.. there a great rave/ dance days "Next Generation" with the
guests from Russia, Germany. In 10 and 11 july.
3. Very famous popgroup PIENVEDEJA PIEDZIVOJUMI ("Adventures of
Milkcar") next album release in the autumn (not with the major label
"Microphone Records" as previous..). News follows.
4. In the 1st july = release/ street date of symphonic and rock
composer's Imants Kalninsh new album. In the CD format comes out his
very famous "4th Symphony" with some rock pieces....
5. And the well known "techno death/ thrash core" band INVASION are
guests of Minska's rockfestival in the neighbourcountry Belarussia.
Misk is the capital city there. Festival begins tomorrow.

Just to let people know, the Danish chain tape has just arrived on these
Pacific shores. Only a few songs into it, but so far I'm really pleased -
it really is POP! It'll be moving on down the chain momentarily (a tip for
those who don't know how a tape chain works...a certain disc I made comes
to mind).

channel is sending live concerts from the Roskilde Festival tonight
(Saturday) between 9 pm and 2 am. It will feature concerts with BEASTIE
BOYS, PULP, SONIC YOUTH, PSYCHED UP JANIS and SEIGMEN.

3. Oh Yes - we receive (yesterday) official message from Latvian
label "Busim Pazistami" with information - DEPECHE MODE concerts will
follows 3th september in Riga, but in the 2th september - another
concert in Estonian local town Tartu.
4. Well known- guitar man Armands Alksnis (member today of famous
pop- /rockband CREDO) own 40th celebration makes up with small
concert in one of the Riga's nightclub! Soon..

hello.
PLUXUS are playing at M/S STUBNITZ in Stockholm on July 1st. Support the
"drug-boat" by paying them a visit, make sure to buy lots of coca-cola
and you will also be a part of the very very fine NURSERY INJECTION
festival. Plus you'll get a live apperance by stockholms own electronica
youngsters Pluxus and three other actsw wil lbe on stage too. Pluxus
will also play some Benno-party soon. That will be in Stockholm too.
Pluxus have contributed to a Benno compilation 7" and the party is held
to celebrate the release of that piece of vinyl. Dont know the exact
date for that though. Pluxus will also play the Emmaboda festival in
August. Pluxus have a pretty new 7" out on slowball recordings and it is
selling very much so if you want it make sure to get it soon.
Pluxus soulmates, Iota from gothenburg, will play in their hometown

Subject: Danish tape-chain update
Hi. I recieved the Danish Pop tape-chain today. I'm listening to it right
now, it seems quite nice. Since there was no cassette sleeve I made one,
I'll send it with the tape. I made it in black + white so it will be easier
for people to make a copy.
Anyway, I'll post it to Mo Holkar in a day or two.
Oh, and does anyone know the status of Scandinavian Indie (For Your Soul)?
I have been looking forward to hearing Mew as well.
