S Y N C - D E M O S
* Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find all our past productions. When I do, I'll release them here. However, I found some stuff!

New as of 2000-02-20: Troed has found some screens. They are here now, look at the bottom of this very page!

We released some stuff in Swedish New Year demo 88-89:

As well, we also released two screens in the Swedish New year demo 89-90.

The vectorballs were coded by (sp)re(a)dhead. He also did the Sync logo. The vectorballs morphed into different shapes and rotated around some axis'. Some module played and the text string changed, lowerborder.

To get an idea of how this sound and look like, I have done a short QuickTime movie with a few seconds from this screen. (This file is big: 2.2 mb). Click *here* to download it!

This is a screen shot of the fullscreen screen in the new year demo. Note that this GIF is about 360x250 pixels big, where the atari originally only has 320x200. All border removed. Huge scrolltext (sync-scroll) and a layer with a background that scrolled around in all directions, changed shape and colours.

"Red Fox got bored with never releasing anything as a Sync member, so he did some eViL hacking and cracking on the side. This is an intro he released as a member of I.C.S, but the demo routines are of pure Sync-power. The demo has no top or lower borders, and the typewriter in the middle of the screen extends into the left and right border also (not visible in the screenshot, due to being taken using the Echo emulator). In the lower border there's a 3d scroller behind the I.C.S logo, and the logo in the starfield is XY-disting with an 8 pixel height separation (demo coders know what we mean with that :)"

These two, very old, screens were made by MrMac. They can be downloaded from two compilation discs:

We didn't quite make it into the whattaheck demo ... :

Anti ... amiga crew! Mega and 7an joined Sync shortly after this screen. The screen shot doesn't show the lower border... the no-border routs weren't exactly that accurate :)
