To: MB-trans ML Message-ID: MIME-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: TEXT/PLAIN; charset=US-ASCII Is anyone else having weird experiences with the MB-trans mailer this week? When I posted chapter 1.3, I didn't see part 4 in my mailbox until long after Paul and Jeanne and Akira had commented on it. Likewise, I'm still waiting to see Paul's comments to part 2. His comments to parts 1, 3 and 4 have long since arrived... We've got (at least) one user with a flakey Email address - the mailer times out trying to get to his machine probably 30% of the time, and waits on sending out messages to all addresses _following_ his on the list until it manages to get through to his machine. Just installed a new version of SendMail, so perhaps this will help, otherwise I'm going to have to do a bit of sorting and try to keep his address at the bottom of the alias list - being one of the addresses at the top of the list, I hadn't noticed the severity of the problem, only the occurance. I know kor-t was just a giant alias that was kept updated. Is thsi one an actual mail-list prog? I turn off the vast majority of my headers for display, so id on't really know :) > Just installed a new version of SendMail, so perhaps this will EEewww :) I remember when we switched from SunOS-supplied sendmail to 8.6.12. I'm contemplating the update to 8.7.1 but haven't done it yet :) PH -- Paul Hirose : pthirose@ucdavis.edu : I don't speak for UC Davis, or Engr: ACS : Programmer/Analyst : ACS unless specified otherwise 1039 Academic Surge : ----------------------------------------------------- Davis, CA 95616-8770 : SysAdmin Motto - "/usr/bin/mv /my/life /dev/null" From ray@soyokaze.biosci.ohio-state.edu Fri Oct 27 12:31:15 1995 Received: by soyokaze.biosci.ohio-state.edu (8.6.10/1.950110) id MAA23166; Fri, 27 Oct 1995 12:31:15 -0400 Date: Fri, 27 Oct 1995 12:31:15 -0400 From: "William C. I know kor-t was just a giant alias > that was kept updated. This one is half a mail-alias, and half a handful of procmail script - Sendmail is buggy enough as it is, so I try not to compound the potential risk by adding yet more servers like majordomo - Besides, Soyokaze already has its hands full just handling J. Harvey's web page - another proc or two might kill it ^_^;;; Will Ray From jyh168@uclink4.berkeley.edu Fri Oct 27 20:57:03 1995 Received: from uclink4.berkeley.edu by soyokaze.biosci.ohio-state.edu (8.7.1/1.950110) id UAA24225; Fri, 27 Oct 1995 20:56:58 GMT Received: from [128.32.185.226] (emf-26.Berkeley.EDU [128.32.185.226]) by uclink4.berkeley.edu (8.6.12/8.6.12) with SMTP id NAA30241 for ; Fri, 27 Oct 1995 13:54:05 -0700 Date: Fri, 27 Oct 1995 13:54:05 -0700 Message-Id: Mime-Version: 1.0 Content-Type: text/plain; charset="us-ascii" To: mboy-trans@soyokaze.biosci.ohio-state.edu From: jyh168@uclink4.berkeley.edu (Jason Ho) Subject: MBoy manga Hi, does anyone know where in the San Francisco Bay Area still carry MBoy manga?
