Mary Stanton writes mysteries, fantasy and juvenile science
fiction. Her novels include The Heavenly Horse fFrom the Outermost
West (Baen 1988) and Piper at the Gate (Baen 1989). She has just
completed A Taste for Murder, the first of three mysteries for
Berkley. Her short fiction has appeared in such anthologies as An
Anthology of Unicorns, Horsefantastic and Hooves of Thunder, Manes of
Gold.

Stanton lives on a farm in upstate New York with her husband, Robert,
a businessman. She recently retired from her managment consulting firm
Stanton & Hucko.
