An oriental-style cook-at-the-table dinner
- 4 Tbsp oil
- 4 cups celery or water chestnuts
- 2 mild onions,
- 3 cups mushrooms,
- 1 cup bamboo shoots,
- 2 tomatoes,
peeled, sliced thin
- 1 cup beef broth
- 1/2 cup soy sauce
- 4 cups whole fresh spinach leaves
- 1 lb sirloin steak,
sliced very thin
Heat oil in skillet. Add all vegetables except spinach. Cook a few minutes,
Pour broth and soy over vegetables. Stir. Add spinach and beef.
Simmer 5 minutes. Serve hot over rice.
easy, but preparation tedious.
45 minutes preparation, 10 minutes cooking.
no need to measure.
